BIOGRAPHIE
Architecte japonaise, Mio Shibuya s’installe en Europe en 1998 pour enrichir son expérience professionnelle et culturelle, après plusieurs années à Tokyo en tant que chef de projet pour des constructions nouvelles.
Elle travaille pour des architectes italiens à Milan jusqu’en 2007, sur des projets de rénovation culturels et historiques avec un point de vue architectural et design. Elle s’installe ensuite à Paris et collabore avec des agences parisiennes sur des rénovations dans les domaines commercial et résidentiel haut de gamme.
En 2012, elle fonde son propre studio, MIO Shibuya Architecture à Paris. Elle poursuit également des collaborations avec plusieurs agences.
Elle fournit aujourd’hui à ses clients un service de création qui réunit tout son parcours architectural et culturel. Son objectif est de créer des espaces purs et essentiels, de donner une sensation de sérénité à chaque lieu.

Japanese architect Mio Shibuya moved to Europe in 1998 to broaden her professional and cultural experience, after several years in Tokyo working as a project manager for new construction projects.
Until 2007, she worked with Italian architects in Milan on cultural and historical renovation projects, combining architectural and design perspectives.
She then moved to Paris, where she collaborated with Paris-based firms on high-end commercial and residential renovations.
In 2012, she founded her own studio, MIO Shibuya Architecture, in Paris. She also continues to collaborate with several architecture firms.
Today, she offers her clients a creative approach that brings together the full breadth of her architectural and cultural background. Her goal is to create pure and essential spaces, giving each place a sense of serenity.
1998年、日本人建築家Mio Shibuya は、 東京の設計事務所で８年間新築プロジェクトのプロジェクトリーダーとして働いた後、
より豊かな作品の創造と文化的経験を求めて、ヨーロッパへ移住。 2007年までミラノでイタリア人建築家マリオ・ベリーニらのもとで
文化施設や歴史的建造物の内装改修プロジェクトに携わり、建築から家具デザインに渡る美意識とスケールの混在する視点を取り入れる。
その後 2007年にパリへ移り、複数のパリの建築およびインテリアデザイン事務所と協働、国内外のラグジュアリー商業施設物件に携わる。
2012年にはパリにて自身のスタジオ「MIO Shibuya Architecture」を設立し住宅・商業設計の傍ら
デザイン事務所とのヨーロッパおよび日本における大規模商業プロジェクトの設計担当者という柔軟なコラボレーションもコンスタントに継続。
現在はこれまで日本、イタリアそしてフランスにて培ってきた建築的および文化的背景を融合させた創造をクライアントに提供、
純粋で本質的な空間を創り出しながら、それぞれの場所性における内なる静寂と安らぎをもたらすことを目指している。
